Janis Ariazi has been an esthetician (licensed skin care therapist) for more than 25 years.  Formerly the esthetic director for Mario Tricoci Salons and Day Spas, she then moved west, serving as an esthetic director for practices in Phoenix, Arizona and southern California.

For the past 16 years Janis has specialized in clinical skincare, and has been employed with the practice of Suburban Plastic Surgery, with locations in Downers Grove and Hoffman Estates.  During her time there, she perfected the process of gentle skin peeling that rejuvenates, renews, and revives the skin with little or no downtime. 

Under the direction of Dr. Frank Madda, Janis established her own skin care business, utilizing many of the pharmaceutical grade products and methods used in medical facilities.

Janis has now established a new location incorporating salon and gift shop in Libertyville, Illinois, Janis Ariazi – Ageless Skincare.  Specializing in clinical solutions and anti-aging peels, the new establishment offers a full range of pharmaceutical skincare products not typically available in salons or day spas.

People often ask why, at the age of 67, Janis Ariazi has chosen to grow her skincare practice rather than planning for retirement.   Not only has she opened a new facility and gift shop in Libertyville, Illinois, she also offers her own line of pharmaceutical skincare products.

For Janis, the answer is simple.  A three-time cancer survivor (uterine, breast and colon) with a genetic pre-disposition for the disease, she has learned the value of living life to the fullest and pursuing her dreams in the "now" instead of placing them on hold.  She also feels that her life experiences can help other women to realize that they are not alone in the challenges they deal with.

Janis knows from personal experience that feeling good about appearance can go a long way toward enhancing self-esteem when dealing with physical stress or the complexion and skin changes experienced by women throughout their lives.
